Calderdale Way Ultra

The Calderdale Way Ultra race organised by Cannonball Events accommodated 108 runners across the 28.5mi and 50.5mi race options on Saturday 3rd June. In the 28.5mi race, a duo of Tod Harriers in the form of Mark Rochester and Andrew Walker both featured in the top 10 runners. Mark finished in a time of 4.39.27 for 6th whilst Andrew completed the course in 4.44.19 for 9th place. Race winners were Tomas Braziulis of Asics Frontrunner UK in 4:10:50, and Cat Jessop, unattached, in 4:32:14.

In the 50.5mi race, 4 Todmorden Harriers put in some great performances. Dave Garner (pictured) finished in 10hrs 8mins for an excellent 4th place overall and 1st v40, and Martin Davies wasn’t too far behind in 10h 13mins for 6th place and 2nd v40. Ben Holmes and Ben Beckwith of Tod won the male pairs in a time of 11h 6mins. Overall race winners were Adam Worrallo of Bingley Harriers in 09:06:40, and Katja Lederer, unattached, in 10:22:25
