Blackpool Promenade 10 miler, 26th May

5 Todmorden Harriers crossed the border into Lancashire to take part in the Blackpool 10 Miler, a counter for Tod’s Grand Prix race series. In warm conditions and with a gentle breeze Richard Butterwick was 9th and 1st V45 and came in just 15 seconds outside a personal best, Darren Shackleton continuing his strong form came in 11th – both pictured battling it out. Paul Brannigan, Helen Wilson and Guy Whitmore also had strong runs with Paul and Helen also bringing home the medals, Paul 1st V50 and Helen 3rd female V50.
Results: Richard Butterwick 1.04:36, Darren Shackleton 1.06:06, Paul Brannigan 1.08:30, Guy Whitmore 1.19:22 and Helen Wilson 1.25:42
