Pauline wins at Lytham

Lytham Windmill 10k, Remembrance Sunday Road Race

On Sunday 11th November seven Todmorden Harriers took part in this final race in the Harriers Road Grand Prix. This speedy flat out and back course on the coastal front at Lytham, starting and finishing on Lytham Green by the windmill. A two-minute silence was observed before the race started at 11:05.
1229 runners took part with Jon-Jo Doherty from St Helens Striders winning in a time of 33:45. The first lady home was our very own Todmorden Harrier Pauline May in 40:50. The first Toddy back was Richard Butterwick in 16th place with a time of 38:32, the next four Toddies had quite a battle over positions, finally finishing in…
