Halifax Half Marathon, 1st July

Peter Kerridge stayed closer to home to run the hilly Halifax half marathon. This race starts off close to the centre and incorporates a tough climb up Mount Tabor and into Mixenden before taking a long descent back to the start. Peter put in a sterling performance to win the race in fine form finishing in 1.40.53, 16s ahead of 2nd place Joanne Horan of Queensbury running club. This is Peter’s first road race win.
