Naturally, as we are in beautiful Calderdale, Todmorden Harriers are well known on the fells but our dirty little secret is that there are some pretty handy road runners among us (or is it the other way round?), with numerous podium finishes at various distances from Park Runs through 5ks, 10ks and marathons and good results in different age-groups. Paul Brannigan achieved a top ten in the British vet rankings for 10 miles in 2013, and Nick Barber ran an impressive 3.37 marathon at V40 in 2014 to continue a tradition of good times in the club. Coach Graeme Wrench can help you to improve your road results by working on your speed, strength and flexibility on Tuesday nights. We organize the Hot Toddy road race, individual members organize Park Runs, we have a club road championship and the club grand prix includes road races. In the winter the Wednesday pack runs always include several groups training on the road. Using the club forum you can find people to train for the road and travel to road races with.
