Todmorden Mini Mountain Marathon, 26 Jan

Todmorden Harrier and local author and cartographer, Chris Goddard, organised the Mini Mountain Marathon score event on Saturday. Starting and finishing at the Waggon and Horses, Oxenhope, pairs and solo runners were challenged to find orienteering points spread over the surrounding moors within a three hour time limit. Depending on route choices and navigational skill runners had the opportunity to collect a maximum 500 points covering many miles of boggy, tussocky moorland. The event was won by Annie Roberts and Ethan Hassell who amassed a fantastic 330 points. They scooped 1st place, first Todmorden pair and first mixed pair. The other prize winners were:
