Run with us!
You don’t have to be a member to come along and run with us. In fact, pack runs and coaching sessions are an ideal way to get to know us and find out whether Tod Harriers is the club for you.
Meet us at our weekly pack runs which start from a different ‘pub of the month’ every Wednesday. You’ll find that a warm and friendly welcome awaits (see the Pack Runs page for more information).
We understand that running from pubs isn’t suitable for many people for all sorts of reasons – if that is the case for you then turn up at one of our Coaching Sessions at Ferney Lee Junior School every Tuesday at 6.30pm, where you’ll be most welcome to join in with the session: Ferney Lee Road, Todmorden OL14 5NR.
Having said that, if I hadn’t enjoyed the pack runs then I would definitely not have joined and just gone it alone.
The other thing that was good was the fact that it is clear on the website how much the cost is to join. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that anyone, even non members, could join the pack run without having to pay anything.
As a new member turning up to the pack runs and going in the pub after can feel a bit daunting on your own as there are so many people with often different faces every week, but everyone is so welcoming this wasn’t a problem.”
How much to join?
It costs £30 per year to join (includes UK Athletics affiliation fees – if you don’t do any road races you only need to pay £15).
How to join
If you’ve enjoyed the pack runs and are ready to join Todmorden Harriers you may want to contact Darren Graham (Membership Secretary) – either email Darren (see contacts page), or speak to him on a Wednesday evening. You can download a copy of the membership application form by clicking on the picture below (PDF file – new window). Your application will be formally considered at the next monthly committee meeting.
