Getting Started

Monday Runday
The Monday group was initially started to encourage beginners and those getting back to running.
It has progressed from these and we now have 5 groups:

  • A fartlek group – these are runners who want to get faster
  • A medium hilly group approx 10 min mile
  • A medium steady group approx 11 min mile
  • A steady group 12-13 min mile
  • We currently have a run walk group who are increasing their running every week

“Monday Runday” can be whatever you want it to be. Some people come every week; others come intermittently. It doesn’t matter. You don’t have to join it, but we love it when you do.

Our motto is “running together whatever the weather”

Couch to 5k

The next Couch to 5K programme starts Monday 14 March 2022. As noted above Covid19 restrictions have now lifted, but basic NHS guidelines will be followed. Please email to book your place or with any questions.
