Worcester Marathon, Sunday 22nd May
Todmorden Harrier, Paul Alexander, travelled down to take part in the 5th running of this rural and picturesque 26.2 mile 2-lap course. Paul was hoping to sneak under 3.05 to secure a good for age spot in the London Marathon, but with it’s relentless undulating nature, this turned out to be more challenging than anticipated. Despite the tough course however, Paul finished in an impressive time of 3.08.15 for an excellent 9th place overall from a field of 253 runners, having gained 4 places in the final 3 miles of the race with a final kick.
