British Fell and Hill Relay Championships

The British Fell and Hill Relay Championships arrived at Pendle on Saturday, with over 140 teams from across the country taking part. Todmorden Harriers had three teams on the start line in Barley. The Men’s Vets team of Craig Stansfield, Jon Wright, Nick Barber, Ben Crowther, Dwane Dixon and Andrew Wrench had a fantastic day’s running finishing 4th in their category and 23rd overall in a total time of 3.55.39.

The Todmorden Open team also performed incredibly well. Andy McFie, Graeme Brown, Paul Hobbs, Rob Gray, John Allan and Dave Garner posted a cumulative time of 4.07.19, bringing them in 41st overall. The Todmorden Ladies had a great run out too. Rebecca Patrick, Mel Blackhurst, Lucy Hobbs, Kath Brierley, Kate Mansell and Pauline May posted a cumulative time of 5.18.51 to finish 114th overall. This was a great day out for the Harriers, with fantastic team spirit and enjoyment bringing home some terrific individual and team performances.
