Richard Butterwick blasted round the Barrowford 5km course to take 26th place in 18 minutes flat. The race is one of the Pendle & Burnley Grand Prix races – famous for selecting demanding local races for their competition. Richard currently stands 244th out of 415 places in the overall Grand Prix ratings. Overall race winners were Jonny Mellor of Liverpool Harriers in 14:27, and Elizabeth Renondeau of Ellesmere Port in 18:04.
