The Caldervale 10 mile road race took place on Good Friday. The course took runners round one undulating lap with challenging hills on quiet country roads near Preston. With a total ascent of 176m this was a course to really test the mettle of the Todmorden Harriers who made the trip. First across the line for Todmorden was Andy Ford. He finished 10th overall in 1.06.31. Just two places behind him came Duncan Cannon in 1.06.51. The top three for Todmorden was completed by Chris Goddard (V40) who finished 22nd in 1.10.17. The sole female representative for the Harriers was Sarah Glyde (V45) who completed the course in 1.19.35 to finish 63rd overall.
