The final race of this season’s Grand Prix was a stunning lap of Derwent water in the Lake District. Over 420 runners lined up for the 10 mile road race that could generously be called undulating. Starting with a relatively flat 4 miles before returning up the lake in a more roller-coaster fashion skirting the bottom of Cat Bells and heading down into Stair and back round to Portinscale.
Top Toddie performance of the day goes to president Kath Brierley who won the V60 category in an impressive 1h 22m. The other notable mention goes to Emma Fielder who was 14th woman overall and ran an exceptional 1h 13m.
