Helen Windsor 10K Wed 2nd July 2014
The perennially popular Helen Windsor 10K hosted by Halifax attracted 17 Todmorden Harriers to Greetland. The race features in the Harriers’ Road Championships and last year’s ladies road champion Sarah Glyde finished 3rd lady overall reducing her best time for the course by 2 minutes. In the over 70 category English Fell Champion Richard Blakeley took 1st place. A highlight of the night for many harriers was watching Ian Stansfield’s battle to avoid last place, which he managed to do by just 8 seconds.
