Hilly Half

Hendon Brook Half Marathon, 8 July

On Sunday, the Grand Prix continued with the road champs section over at Marsden Park in Nelson. The Hendon Brook race is a hilly 13.5 mile route taking over 2100ft of climbing, so a test for any runner. 6 Toddies were among the 186 runners who took the race on with Matt Flanagan being 1st Toddy back in 17th place with a time of 1.39.06. Sarah Glyde was the sole Toddy female finishing in 85th place with a time of 1.59.03. Darren Shackleton continues to hold onto the top spot in the league and Sarah is the top lady but there are only 4 races left for people below to challenge them.
