On Wednesday 1st May the popular Hollingworth Lake 5k series kicked off with 107 runners starting out at Littleborough Rugby Club to run an anti-clockwise loop of the lake.
Two Tod Harriers were in action with Richard Butterwick being first to finish for the club in 20:46 for 21st overall whilst Sarah Glyde ran a fabulous 21:48 for 33rd overall. Both Richard and Sarah were 1st in their respective V45 age categories.
The race winners were Gareth Raven of Sale Harriers in the Men’s in a time of 16:05 and Helena White of Clayton-le Moors Harriers in 18:28.
