Isle of Jura Fell Race, 26th May

Eleven Todmorden Harriers took part in the legendary Jura Fell race. This is one of the toughest races in the calendar comprising 28km with 2370m of climbing and crossing 7 mountains including the Paps of Jura. The winner was Ted Ferguson in under 3.5 hours, first lady was Jasmin Paris in 3.49. Annie Roberts had an absolute blinder of a run and was first Todmorden Harrier and 2nd lady in 4.11. Next Toddie was Bob Halstead in 5.15, followed by Zoe Djikman. Greg May, Rob Tyson, Phil Hodgson, Mandy Goth and Sue Roberts also finished the race in very hot and windy weather, which made a tough race even tougher!
