King of the Castle Time Trial, 7 Jan

Annie, Martin and Sue Roberts travelled up to the Lakes to participate in the King of the Castle 1.5 mile time trial. With a staggered start from YHA Borrowdale, runners ran along the river and up to the top of Castle Crag where the race finishes. Everyone then jogged back to the hostel for tea and the most amazing selection of cakes. The winners Carl Bell (Keswick) and Annie Roberts (Todmorden Harriers) were crowned king and queen of the castle.

Sue 67th in 22.41
