Ochill 2000’s Scottish Long Classics Series

Tod harriers Dan Taylor headed to Stirling for the latest round of the Scottish Long Classics series, the Ochil 2000`s. The race provides a different challenge to most races as it is ran point to point. After a coach out to the Eastern side of the Ochil Hills the route traverses 10 hills of 2000 ft or more, over a distance of over 21 miles. The bank holiday weather was hot even in Scotland and the competitors were glad for the cool water of the various burns around the course. The race was won by James Espie of Deeside Runners in 3.11 Dan finished in 30th place out of 100 starters in 4.22
