A sunny Saturday afternoon in Downham, Lancashire saw the latest round of the Todmorden Harriers GP and fell championship at Pendle Cloughs fell race. The race is 14 miles with 4,100 ft of elevation which takes in seldom seen areas of Pendle and allows runners a choice of route between 9 checkpoints. There were 10 Todmorden Harriers taking part and there were plenty of prizes taken home. Dom Leckie had an outstanding result winning the race overall. Ben Blosse carried on his rich vein of form to finish 3rd crossing the line less than a minute behind Dom. There were also great performances by Rebecca Patrick, who finished 2nd lady and Stuart Wolstenholme who led home a group of 5 Todmorden runners that all finished within 4 minutes of each other. The team celebrated each other’s success with ice-creams and the Moorhouses beer presented to the prize winners.
