The seventh race of the Pendle and Burnley Grand Prix saw cooler temperatures for this Friday evening race. The 5-mile route is a steady 700ft climb up from Earby to the trig of Pinhaw, and then asks how much runners got in the tank for the return along the same track. Darren Shackleton continued his impressive form this year coming close to a podium finish in 5th spot.
