The annual Race you to the Summit fell race is a short, fast fell race from The Summit Inn, near Littleborough, up to the White House pub at Blackstone edge and back. It’s fast, it’s furious, and it’s a lot of fun. Todmorden’s Doni Clarke showed once again that he is in incredible form, taking 2nd place in 29:47, just being overtaken by Calder Valley’s Martin Howard in the final few moments in what was a very close finish indeed. Joseph Mountain was 2nd for Todmorden in 36th position overall 39:56, showing a lot of promise for someone who is still quite new to the sport. Phil Hodgson also had an excellent run, taking 1st MV65.
