The men continued the success with more outstanding results. It was another great year for the Vets team as they held their title for a third successful year, beating their nearest rivals, Blackburn, by 13 points. Individual performances within a field of over 140 runners who completed all 4 races was impressive….
• Nick Barber finished 11th overall and also came 2nd V40-44
• Graeme Brown finished 15th overall and 3rd V40-44
• Dwane Dixon was 29th and 7th V40-44
• Matt Flanagan – 48th and 13th V40-44
• Tom Barker 87th (he’s a young whippersnapper so wasn’t in the Vets)
• James Riley – 92nd & 17th V45-49
• Richard Blakeley – 142nd & was 1st V70
The open age teams finished 5th out of 15 teams.
