The Stoop Fell Race, 16 Dec

The Stoop fell race took place on Sunday 16th December and saw 208 runners take on the 4.9 mile course with 700ft of elevation climb. Jack Wood of Ilkley Harriers blasted around this great little course in a time of 30.27 winning by a narrow 6 second margin from 2nd place Sam Tosh of Rossendale Harriers. Ribble Valley’s Nichola Jackson was the first woman home. Todmorden Harriers turned up with a dozen runners who all had a great run to put the finishing touches to their 2018 racing calendar. Andrew Worster was the first home to finish in a great position of 8th in 33.17. Claire Duffield also performed well being the first Toddie lady to finish, crossing the line in 44.06 and 4th v40.
