Edenfield Fell Race, 4 June 2017

The Todmorden Harriers Fell & Grand Prix Champs continued on Sunday 4th June with the Edenfield fell race in Ramsbottom. The race covers 10.3km with 477m of ascent. 95 runners participated and Todmorden Harriers turned up in force to make up more than 10% of the field with 10 runners in action.
Andrew Worster clinched 3rd place in 45.33, just less than 2 minutes behind 1st place Phil Marsden from Horwich. Sally Chesworth (pictured) picked up 1st female V50, who together with Kim Ashworth and Heather Rostron picked up the ladies team prize. Overall female winner was Sarah Tipler of Barlick Fell Runners in 53:25. Helen Hodgkinson added to the prizes for Tod as the first female V45.
