Windy Hill Fell Race, 10 Feb

Over in Littleborough, the Windy Hill Fell Race took place on Saturday 10th February with 203 runner in action. At 9 miles and 1281 feet of elevation this course is a real favourite with fast trails, runnable fells, and always lives up to its name.
The race winner was v45 Shaun Godsman of Calder Valley Fell Runners in 1.02.01 over a minute ahead of second place Rob James of Royton Road Runners. The Ladies race was won by Alice Swift of Chorlton Runners in 1.16.41.
There were 4 Toddies in action. First back for the club was Howard Darwin in 1.20.02 for 49th place overall and 4th v50. Sarah Vickers had a great run finishing as 1st FV35 in 1.23.04 and 63rd overall.
