Fell Races
The Noon Stone Fell Race is a counter in the 2010 English Fell Running Championship sponsored by Pete Bland Sports and Inov8.
Probably Todmorden's toughest race. Run over harsh terrain in early March/late February (in the South Pennines this often feels like the middle of winter!). It is a race for the true fell runner as it's not only a measure of your speed and stamina, your navigation will also be put to the test as much of the route is unmarked.

necessary and failing to do so may result in a lengthy walk to registration.
Cut-off times will be enforced on the
day. These are: Stoodley Pike 45mins and Cragg Vale 65mins |

Top Brink Inn, Lumbutts, Todmorden. GR956236 on the OS South Pennines Sheet 21. Online location map (new window) Course route map (large pdf file - new window) NO TRAINING OVER THE RACE ROUTE PLEASE!!! The race crosses areas of private land (Yorkshire Water) and also areas of Special Scientific Interest (SSI) so there should be absolutely no training over the race route and doing so may jeopardise the future of the race. |
